DMK Enzyme treatment

Today I’m going to be running through my experience with the DMK enzyme treatment. Incase you haven’t seen the crazy videos/photos on Instagram I will explain what it is first 🙂

Bit of background information on DMK (Danne Montague King) skincare.

They’re a paramedical line which is only available via prescription (you can’t pop into any salon and buy it)

DMK Enzyme therapy

DMK is the only company in the world to utilise the beneficial effects of transfer messenger enzymes. Enzymes are living substances that regulate health and work with certain minerals in the body to form a natural system of antioxidants that fight corrosive free radicals. Properly formulated, they can remove dead protein, toxins and other effluvia from the epidermis using a process called ‘reverse osmosis’.

Where some cosmetic facial treatments may only act on the surface of the skin, DMK Enzyme Treatments work with the skin. The enzymes aim to strengthen the structural integrity of the skin to create a healthy environment for cells to live and thrive in.

Enzyme Therapy exercises facial muscles and works to leave the skin feeling firm.

First they cleanse your skin then they scan your face with a Visia skin analysis machine and do a very thorough consultation (45 minutes) I learnt so much about my skin and what was going on.

Then I was taken through for the treatment 😀

My skin was cleansed, had some extractions done too. Then I had a peel put on (felt similar to tiger balm) honestly the peel wasn’t too bad, after the initial shock I was ok haha

Moving onto the fun part, the enzyme therapy. At first it felt just like a normal mask, I was able to lie and check out my phone (it has to be on for 45 minutes)

After the first 30 minutes it was getting really tight and I honestly didn’t think it could feel any tighter but then it did! I looked like deadpool, definitely a look… 🙂

Another thing worth mentioning was how weird it felt, I could feel my veins pulsing in my neck so strongly. Hard to describe but it was a very odd/cool sensation.

At the 45 minute mark I couldn’t move properly to even look at my phone so I was happy when she came back in to remove it.

Initial application
